Prepared For Life is active in the community with a strong focus on supporting parents and schools with development in driver awareness and driver behaviour.
Our programs are dynamic, exciting and engaging, connecting to the youth of today as they begin the journey to being the drivers of Tomorrow.
We offer all schools free programs aimed at years 10, 11 and 12. to address the attitudinal, emotional and psychological development of them as drivers, in a positive, empowered, peer group environment.
Also we facilitate the Wacky Racers Billycart Grand Prix derbys. Our aim with these events is to connect community to businesses, get the kids out and learning new skills and connect mums, dads, and the kids with a fun activity around driving, that will assist in preparing them with their roles as supervised drivers in the coming years.
As we start learning to drive from the age of 3, we have partnered with Humphrey B Bear to support parents with driver and road safety commencing the foundations of skills from riding a scooter, their first bike and a range of other skills. Yes, driving really does begin that early.

Our new event for 2018 is the Cooly Rocks on Nostalgia festival. Held on Boundary st Coolangatta, we bring history back to life as this is the location the original races in Cooly were held back in the day!
There are some fantastic prizes on offer including the opportunity to race and win your very own V8 Supercar and F1 themed Billycarts.

Remember when driving was fun, that is the objective of Prepared For Life’s community events. Connecting dads and kids, teens and community, youth with experience, with a common goal and objective, to have fun with driving.
A billy cart Championship that is designed to help the youth, business and community come together with projects inspired by our imagination, created with our inspiration and developed with old minds and young hearts.
Our aim is to encourage participants to be as creative as possible, there are various categories and people can share the same Billycart between their team so everyone gets a drive. Our goal is to help youth rediscover their passion for driving, create an understanding basic of mechanics and engineering in vehicles.
The competition allows schools, students, and their industrial arts departments, to have a family event with a friendly competition. The excitement of getting in behind the wheel for your first steer. From the design, creation and of course, adventure with your mates.
